Renee Paquette Announces New Podcast

Renee Paquette has been making moves to capitalize on her value after leaving the WWE pretty quickly. She has a cookbook that’s already available for pre-order and now she has announced a podcast.

Calling it “Oral Sessions” (and yes, she’s aware of the loaded nature of that title), Paquette is looking to really expand into the podcast territory and become a strong female voice in that media. In fact, she’d like to find herself compared to popular podcaster Joe Rogan. Speaking with the SI Media podcast, Paquette was pretty clear in her intentions.

“I want to be in control of more of my own content, my voice, the things I’m talking about, the things I’m doing. That’s also the post-WWE feel of ‘Oh my God, I can do whatever I want and no one is going to nitpick everything I do.’ Shit, let’s get a little unshackled here. The more I look at that space, obviously what Joe Rogan has been able to do is fucking incredible, but there’s not a lot of women in that space. I would like to step in and provide a voice in that spot.”

Paquette has big things planned for herself between now and the release of her new cookbook in May of next year. Her podcast should certainly allow for some provocative conversation.
