Top Flight made quite the impact in their AEW debut. Darius and Daunte Martin went move for move with the Young Bucks, coming up short in the end. They did, however, make quite the impression on the crowd at Daily’s Place and on social media.
After an appearance on Dark, and having the match originally announced for Dynamite last week, the match was revealed to have been pulled and “considered for a later date.” That date was then revealed on last week’s Dynamite to be tonight’s show. Despite flashes of brilliance and holding their own and then some against the reigning AEW Tag Team Champions, Top Flight eventually fell when the champs utilized The BTE Trigger for the victory.
They’re clearly not done though, as a promo posted to Twitter shows. The duo promises to get the win against them at some point and promises to be back on Dynamite soon enough. Many fans hope for the same thing.
