Former Tough Enough Winner Nidia Guenard On If She Will Ever Wrestle Again
Nidia Guenard was the winner of the first ever Tough Enough competition for the women, and made an impact in the WWE. Getting paired with Jamie Noble, the duo were an entertaining act before she and him were separated before her release in 2004.
In an interview with Fightful, Nidia seems pretty content with her career and has no desire to return to the ring. In the interview, Nidia stated she has “no desire to return to the ring or wrestle again.”
She did also mention her options were limited anyways, as “no companies really reach out” to her these days.
Nidia had a brief stint on the independent scene, and she mentioned in the interview her desire to quit wrestling before her release, one of her worries in that time was breaching her contract.
As far as those independent bookings go, she explained she only took bookings in places she “wanted to vacation to” and did that for about a year before deciding to “disconnect entirely” from the industry.
