Triple H Looking Into Finding More Ring Time For NXT Roster
NXT has usually relied on house shows to help their talent get ring time. A lot of times, things have been based on them having two different traveling groups so more people could get time to work on their presentation. While the COVID-19 pandemic has prevented house shows, there has been the slight benefit of them having two hours of television as opposed to the previous one over the last year as well. However, you can only squeeze so many people into two hours of television, and Triple H is working to figure out how to help more people get time to perform and build their personas.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported Triple H is trying to figure out how NXT stars can get more time in the ring. He’s looking at the budget for a solution, but it won’t be a return to house shows.
Paul Levesque is going through budgets trying to find a way to implement some type of a show that would get more NXT talent ring time and exposure. They aren’t going to do house shows but they may add something in some form.
An online program is always an option, and it’s not like there isn’t an audience for a show like that, they can see that in the competition. However, Triple H hasn’t been afraid to try new things, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see if something new and different pops up. NXT has a lot of talent on their roster and a lot haven’t even found a second of television time. Any way to feature lesser used talent can only help for when they want people to recognize them on the Wednesday night show.
