Another WWE Executive Parts Ways With The Company

There have been numerous WWE Executive departures from the company this week, and it looks like we can add another name to the list.

According to a report from PWInsider, WWE Senior Vice President for Data Strategy, Pat Murrin has left the company. Murrin had been with WWE since March of 2016.

The report stated that Murrin’s departure, and other recent Executives that are no longer with the company is most likely brought on “in due part” by the recent “changing of the guard” WWE is undergoing after replacing George Barrios and Michelle Wilson as WWE Co-Presidents. Additionally, their report stated:

“In the case of Murrin, the source pointed out that Vince McMahon on financial calls has distanced the company from the importance of analytics and data following the exit of Barrios in particular. Barrios had strongly championed that the data they were mining from WWE Network and other revenue streams would help evolve the company towards the future. It makes sense the new team is going to build their own infrastructure.”

Murrin’s exit from WWE follows Mark Kowal, John Brody, and Brian Nurse, all of whom have exited WWE and their executive roles over the last week.

It was also said that there may have been addition exits from WWE that have yet to be confirmed. We will keep you updated if any more information comes out regarding this “changing of the guard” situation WWE is going through corporately.
