Rohit Raju continued his Defeat Rohit challenges on Impact tonight, this time taking on long time Impact character Suicide.
The arrival of the masked man, a creation of Impact’s much maligned video game, caused Raju to make the match non-title, assuming TJP was under the mask of the character. Raju had reason to believe that, with Perkins once under the mask before altering it to become Manik.
Raju made it his goal to unmask Suicide during the match, getting a surprise when he did as Crazzy Steve was revealed to be Suicide. TJP showed up and gave enough of a distraction to get Steve the win, adding another chapter to the rivalry between Raju and Perkins.
The unmasking wasn’t a storyline ender, however. Fightful Select has reported that while Steve was under the mask, Caleb Konley is still usually the one who plays the character while keeping a role as Tenille Dashwood’s photographer/manager. So while Crazzy Steve may have been revealed to be the man as Suicide tonight, Suicide remains a man of mystery to the audience.
