We recently reported on AAA scheduling their annual TripleMania event for December 26th based on a report from Lucha Central’s Eric Mutter.
This date has been revealed to be incorrect, and AAA themselves announced the date on Twitter today as December 12th, still taking place at Arena Ciudad de Mexico. While it is still likely to be an empty venue event, the date has now been officially announced and AAA will reveal more at a press conference on November 30th.
The show is hopeful to be headlined by a match between Kenny Omega and Laredo Kid for Omega’s AAA Mega Championship, along with othered rumored matches from our earlier report. Of course, the big note is that it will feature the debut of AAA’s Marvel characters, created by the company in a partnership with Marvel Comics.
Streaming and watch details have yet to be revealed, though that information could come at the press conference.
