Injuries are a common occurrence inside a WWE ring. Unexpected injuries can cause plans to be changed and it seems Braun Strowman’s plans might have to be changed as well.
WWE’s original plans for Strowman would see him challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Title at WWE TLC in December. It seems there was a proper reason for him being excluded from the #1 contender triple threat match next week.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that he heard Braun Strowman possibly got injured. This would explain why he was written out of action this week on RAW. The company made him headbutt Adam Pearce in order to remove him from WWE television.
The beleif backstage is that Strowman suffered a knee injury at Survivor Series in that elimination match.
