Update On WrestleMania 37 Plans – “Loose Ideas” In Discussion
At one point, WWE had long term plans often. WrestleMania plans were set in stone months in advance so they knew the destination the creative team had to get to between Survivor Series and the show of shows. These days? Not so much.
WWE hasn’t really locked down matches for TLC in a few weeks. Considering what was supposed to be the main event of Drew McIntyre vs. Braun Strowman could be in jeopardy, even the one match they have planned could end up not happening.
Ringside News has reported that the company has nothing really planned past TLC. The ideas they have aren’t long term, except for a few “very top talent.”
They spoke with a tenured member of the creative team that said Vince “is considering” some ideas for his top stars, but they are “loose ideas” at this moment in time. Nothing is locked in yet, even the matches we’ve discussed potentially on this site. At this point, everything discussed has just been proposed.
The company is having a hard enough time planning this month’s pay per view, it’s no wonder we haven’t seen anything set in stone for next April. It’s a far cry from when Vince and Bruce Prichard would have locked everything down by now. Then again, they haven’t even confirmed a date yet, hoping a couple week push back from normal plans could allow for them to have fans in the stadium as they make good on missing out on Raymond James Stadium last year.
