WWE’s original plans would have seen Braun Strowman square off against Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at WWE TLC.
He was then suspended indefinitely and was also not part of the #1 Contender’s match as well. He was seemingly written off of WWE television and it seems there was a good reason for this.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that Strowman has suffered an injury to his knee and will not be there for WWE TLC. It was said that he received the injury during the Men’s Survivor Series Elimination match.
It was also said that the writing team is under the impression that the match will still go on as planned, only that Strowman will not be in it.
We will have to see when Strowman returns.
