Night 7 of the NJPW World League 2020 marks the last time that NJPW will be at Tokyo’s famous Korakuen Hall during the BOSJ and WTL tour. After night 6 there were still 8 teams with a chance of finishing in the top two places to go onto the final, with 4 teams on 8 points and 4 teams on 6 points.
The most pivotal match of night 7 was Jeff Cobb and Great O’khan vs Evil and Yujiro Takahashi with both teams on 6 points both needed a win to stay in competition for the final two with the looser being left behind and out of contention.
Two more critical matches included Juice Robinson and David Finlay on 6 points vs the Dangerous Tekkers (Zack Sabre Jr and Taichi) on 8 points as well as the Guerillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa) on points 6 vs SANADA and Shingo Tagaki on 8 points. Robinson and Finlay as well as the Guerillas of Destiny must win their matches if they are to stay in contention to make it to the final.
Also in action were Hiroshi Tanhashi and Toa Henare on 2 points vs Tomohiro Ishii and Toru Yano on 8 points as well as Bad Luck Fale and Chase Owens on 4 points vs Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI on 6 points.

Tomohiro Ishii and Toru Yano (5W, 2L) Defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi and Toa Henare (1W, 6L)
Guerillas Of Destiny (G.O.D) (4W, 3L) Defeated SANADA and Shingo Tagaki (4W, 3L)
Juice Robinson and David Finaly (4W, 3L) Defeated Dangerous Tekkers (4W, 3L)
Surprisingly after the results of night 7 Tomohiro Ishii and Toru Yano are on 10 Points
Dangerous Tekkers, Juice Robinson and David Finlay, G.O.D, SANADA and Shingo Tagaki, Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI as well as Jeff Cobb and the Great O’Khan are right behind the top team on 8 Points.
Evil and Yujiro Takahashi are pretty much out of the running to make the top two, currently on 6 points.
Bad Luck Fale and Chase Owen are effectively eliminated from the tournament currently on 4 points.
Hiroshi Tanahashi and Toa Henare are also effectively with only one win currently on 2 Points.
So with only two nights left of the World Tag League, 7 teams are still in contention for just two spots in the final who will be in that final match come December 11th?
