WWE Is Taking Action To Prevent Talent From Going Over Allotted Time On Programming
In television, a show has to have their timing down perfectly. Going over on a segment can cause a whole show to go into disarray, and it can be even worse on live television. The WWE is no exception and they have started to drop the hammer on offenders of this.
PWInsider has reported that WWE sent out some reprimands in recent weeks to “a number of talents” for going over their allotted time segments, especially because they are tired of talent going over the time carved out for them on the show. It’s not just the talent getting heat for this, but producers as well. After all, if producers are responsible for putting these matches or segments together, they may take some of the heat for those segments going long.
With many WWE shows looking like they’ve had sudden endings in recent memory, it safe to say those segments running long caused some of those scenarios. While none of that is confirmed, information like this makes it easy to put two and two together and now the company is working to put an end to situations like that.
