It’s become no secret that the most powerful person in the WWE that isn’t a McMahon family member is Bruce Prichard. Since coming back to the WWE, Prichard managed to take over the Executive Director position on both Raw and SmackDown, and no doubt it is burning him out some. In fact, having Triple H at Raw this week had some comparing his attendance over Bruce Prichard’s as a “breath of fresh air.”
PWInsider has elaborated on this report, also mentioning that everything creative runs through Prichard and his words being described as “very much the Gospel” of Vince McMahon. His return to the company was due to him knowing how to speak to Vince McMahon, which is how he parlayed his return into one of such power and influence in the company.
Power like that can garner resentment from others and their report has revealed that several superstars with the company have become frustrated with Prichard. Nobody is willing to say it out loud, but there is reportedly heat on Prichard from those talents which is talked about privately.
A job like his can be very time consuming and often times thankless. His podcast co-host Conrad Thompson recently revealed Prichard is often tired, sleepy, and very stressed with this new position.
