Several IMPACT Wrestling Employees Frustrated With Company
IMPACT Wrestling’s COVID-19 procedures have been coming under fire lately. A report recently revealed that a talent tested positive as the company did its best to hide it from all but a handful of people.
Now more details on their COVID protocols have been revealed and the news isn’t only not good, but it’s revealing that many talents are upset with their handling of the pandemic and even tapings themselves.
A new report by Fightful Select revealed that several Impact stars are frustrated by how the company is running lately. Some reported the current attitude as “fly-by-the-sat-of-their-pants” at the last tapings.
As revealed recently, Impact is not testing talent prior to tapings. Their protocols have been revealed as being a temperature check along with signing a waiver that signifies they have no symptoms of COVID. Another major thing that came under fire was how the company handled talent who worked The Collective, where an outbreak of COVID-19 occurred.
Others say that many in the roster were encouraged to get tested after the outbreak of the GCW Collective, but it wasn’t enforced whatsoever.
It’s now known Impact is the only televised pro wrestling company in the country not testing their talent. These protocols will have to change, especially if the company hopes to maintain good relations with their talent and potentially for the benefit of their working relationship with All Elite Wrestling.
