WWE recently unveiled the latest class of NXT recruits and it had some interesting names. One of them could become a major star in the company.
Anriel Howard, a former college basketball player from Mississippi State and Texas A&M was among the latest lineup of talents. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided an explanation as to why she is arguably the best female talent NXT has ever signed.
“She is the most decorated female athlete that the company has ever signed. She was a honorable mention state basketball player at Mississippi State and Texas A&M, 2nd round draft choice of the Seattle Storm in the WNBA. […] She is going to be a very interesting signing because they’ve never had a female athlete of that level, ever in the company.”
We will have to see how NXT will develop her talents and if she will truly shine in the company.
