During last year’s WarGames match, AEW Star Britt Baker was shown sitting ringside with watching intensely as her boyfriend NXT Superstar Adam Cole competed in the match.
Not only was Baker seen on camera, but former WWE Commentator Mauro Ranallo even commented on her presence in the NXT audience.
Triple H even talked about AEW Star Britt Baker being shown on the TakeOver broadcast, stating that the director at the time didn’t know who she was. Claiming that they just showed the most concerned “fan” in the crowd, and that once they did they had to address it. He also said that he didn’t have a problem with it in any way shape or form.
But that might not be the case with others within WWE, as the footage of the AEW Star being shown on their broadcast has since been edited out.
If you watch last years WarGames match, you will notice that the shot of Baker praying in the crowd which took the internet by storm, even creating it’s on Britt Baker praying challenge, is no longer seen on the WWE Network. WWE also edited out Mauro’s mention of her altogether.
