WWE Held Virtual “All Hands On Deck” Meeting
In the current climate of the world, virtual meetings are definitely the way to go when it comes to getting everyone on board for an important corporate announcement. WWE held one yesterday that was mandatory for all employees out of Stamford.
PWInsider has reported the company held a virtual “all hands on deck” meeting, “a majority” of it meant to introduce staff to the new President & Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan. Khan was hired in October, so there hasn’t been a lot of time to properly introduce him to people.
Another point in the meeting was that employees were told the move to the company’s new HQ is moving along slowly but surely. The pandemic has caused a lot of pause in that move, but it is still in the works.
Khan is working on replacing the roles George Barrios and Michelle Wilson have left in the company, and WWE has tried to make his transition smooth. They set him up in company housing for six months and paid for his move from California to Connecticut. Khan was actually very essential in the recent WWE and Fox deal.
