AEW made its way onto Impact Wrestling this week and since then the landscape of professional wrestling has changed.
Omega referred to himself as a belt collector during his Impact appearance. It seems he will not stop until he gets the titles he desires.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about AEW and Impact Wrestling’s agreement. Currently, no plan is concrete, but it seems fans might get to see Kenny Omega challenge Rich Swann for the Impact World Championship.
“I think that we’re getting a title vs title. They kind of gave that idea that Omega is going to be a belt collector, I don’t know how many he can get, but it’s going to be AAA and AEW and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Impact as well and certain programs happening and things like that.”
We will have to see how the partnership between AEW and Impact Wrestling continues. The professional wrestling world certainly is keeping their eyes on both the companies.
