Sami Callihan has been one of Impact Wrestling’s top performers since his arrival in the company. A former Impact World Champion, Callihan has been a key heel and main eventer for almost his entire run with Impact, and it may not be stopping anytime soon.
PWInsider has reported Sami Callihan is looking to remain with the company past the new year as the company takes stock of who is staying and who is leaving the company. Though Callihan is not booked for the Final Resolution show on December 12th, he looks to be planning on staying quite a while.
Callihan has been heavily invested in the success of the company, even having made an attempt at trying to recruit Jon Moxley to joining him there in reuniting their old Switchblade Conspiracy faction. Though Moxley ended up in AEW, with the recent Impact/AEW partnership, a reunion may still have some potential legs.
They also noted in their report that Taya Valkyrie’s contract is coming to an end in December as well, but there is no current update on her plans. Obviously these are developing stories and we will have more on them as news comes in.
