WWE Beginning Production Of A NXT India Brand In 2021
WWE has continued to build a large global fanbase, trying to do their best to help not just provide them the best shows possible, but cultivate talent that appeals to every fan base in their WWE Universe. They’re about to reach out to a new fanbase with a new television program starting next year.
Post Wrestling has reported WWE is starting to expand again, preparing to film episodes for NXT India in January. Multiple sources have confirmed the expanding of the NXT brand into India and filming at the start of next year. The plan is to air the show on the WWE Network and on linear television in India on Sony Picture Networks.
The initial plan for the brand is going to include an eight-man single elimination tournament to launch the new show, and while no airdate is known, they plan to start the taping next month to begin the process. WWE has not announced names for the brand, but they did hold a tryout in India last year.
