Lars Sullivan Reportedly No Longer Attending SmackDown Tapings
Lars Sullivan has done another disappearing act from television.
The Freak was last seen on SmackDown on the November 6th episode of the show, giving a sit down interview before he disappeared from television. While Lars returned to television looking like he was in line for a monster push, Sullivan seemed to be a victim of “falling through the cracks” to the point where nobody was really asking about him backstage.
Now not only have there been no plans to use him in the immediate future, Lars isn’t even showing up at SmackDown tapings. Ringside News has reported that people backstage “have not seen Lars.”
The strange part is that their report includes “there is no information from the top” in regards to Sullivan, which highlights the disarray of things in WWE right now. There has been a lot of talk of how little stuff is planned for TLC, let alone almost nothing for the Royal Rumble.
While Lars has struggled with injuries during his time in the WWE and NXT, it has been reported this hiatus isn’t an injury. He has also struggled with anxiety and mental health issues, but nobody has said anything along those lines either and rightfully so as that should be kept private.
Lars’ WWE run has been marred with a lot of controversy, whether it has been finding out he had appeared in adult films, the discovery of racist posts on a message board, or being revealed to have harassed someone on Instagram, but Lars seems to be in a place where we have to see what’s happening with The Freak.
