The COVID-19 problems for NXT just keep on growing.
It has been reported another top star that wasn’t on TakeOver: War Games has tested positive, though their identity hasn’t been released at this time.
Now it seems another fan that is a regular at the Capitol Wrestling Center has tested positive. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that through contact tracing, they found out the fan had only gone to two places. They had gone to NXT and to “a theme park.” They noted that “one was outdoors with people spread apart and the other was indoors with people crammed together.”
The fan that tested positive was at the tapings prior to Thanksgiving and the positive test came December 1st. They were not permitted to be at the December 2nd taping due to the test on the 1st.
There was no confirmation if the brand had more than the one positive test. COVID-19 has been wreaking havoc on the world in addition to the pro wrestling business, and we at Bodyslam send our regards to anyone that’s struggled through this.
