AEW revealed they would be getting a second hour of television with the new contract they signed with Warner Media. While AEW did reveal the new hour wouldn’t be Dark, little else is known about what the new show might be. Thanks to a recent trademark filing, we may now know the show’s name at least.
Heel By Nature has reported AEW recently filed trademarks for the terms “AEW Dark” and “AEW Elevation” on December 12th. Of note is that “wrestling programs and events” is in the terminology of the filing, leading many to believe that Elevation could be the name of the new program.
While the name is speculation and the actual start date is unknown, what we do know is that it will be launched in 2021. With WWE potentially planning two new shows to start early next year, wrestling fans will find no shortage of programming to watch regularly.
