Independent Wrestling Show Shut Down For Violating COVID-19 Restrictions
In the age of COVID-19, restrictions are still very much in place for everything. Whether it’s limiting the amount of people you can have at your house, in a restaurant, or a pro wrestling show, there are restrictions in place to help keep everyone safe.
However, every now and then someone ignores those policies and we get a story like ReeferMania 6.
The independent wrestling group Fighting Evolution Wrestling held their rescheduled from the summer ReeferMania 6 Saturday night in Miami and were shut down after two matches for not following capacity restrictions due to COVID-19. Florida guidlines limited the event to 200 people and the event exceeded 400 at the time of the shut down, with more fans arriving as they were being shut down.
While vendors had issues with the legality of marijuana being sold without customers needing to show a license, there were no issues with that, just the capacity.
The show featured such names like The Headbangers and Renee Michelle.
