Pat McAfee’s impressive showing on NXT the past few months have impressed both fans and Superstars alike. Now it seems he will be taking a break.
According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, McAfee has been removed from NXT television.
It was said that he will be absent from WWE television until Spring of next year. It was not revealed why WWE decided to remove McAfee from television.
We’re told McAfee will be off TV for a while. It was WWE’s call, not his. No exact time frame was said, but we’re told he was given the impression it’ll be the spring.
We will have to see what the company has planned for Pat McAfee once he makes his return.
