AEW announced the passing of former TNT Champion Brodie Lee on Saturday. Brodie Lee passed at the age of 41, after battling what his wife revealed to be a non-covid related lung issue.
Lee had been receiving treatment at the Mayo clinic at the time of his passing, as his wife revealed in a tribute she posted on instagram.
After speaking to some of my sources close to the situation, I was told more information as to what potentially lead to Brodie Lee’s death and an update as to what the “non covid related lung issue” could have been. According to my sources, Lee was suffering from what was said to have been either “something impacting his lungs or a lung infection.”
The impact that Brodie Lee left on the wrestling world has been felt, as reactions to his passing have been shared all over social media by those who had their lives touched by him. I personally would like to extend my thoughts and prayers to his friends and family as they cope with the loss of such an incredible man.
