In what has probably been one of the NWA’s worst kept secrets, former NWA Television Champion Zicky Dice is now a free agent.
Dice has been issuing several reports on his contract status, last telling people on December 2nd his contract was set to expire 30 days from his tweet and has now gone back to Twitter to remind everyone his deal expires in 4 days. This time, Dice asked fans to tag other promotions they wanted to see him in, saying he would “rather hustle 24/7 than slave 9 to 5.”
Dice has become one of the company’s breakout stars, but reports of heat with NWA Champion Nick Aldis and difficulties with the locker room and management have plagued his run with the company despite gaining notoriety that opened a lot of doors for him to compete elsewhere.
Dice is only a couple year veteran, so there’s still plenty of chances for him to see big things. We’ll have to see where he ends up.
