Ring Of Honor Talent Feel They Have Been Treated “Exceptionally Well” During COVID-19 Pandemic
The pandemic has affected professional wrestling in several ways, and no promotion was spared. Not even Ring of Honor, who have had to cancel shows and then adjust how the company handles things by creating their own bubble surrounding their tapings.
One of the things that has been talked about during this period of time is contracts, especially with all the time off that Ring of Honor had to have involuntarily. While several companies have been known to freeze contracts if talent cannot work for extended periods of time, Fightful Select has reported ROH did not do that at all. According to their report, talent has said the company has treated them “exceptionally well” and did not freeze any contracts or tack on more time.

While we do not know if WWE has done this to any talent during the pandemic, ROH is confirmed to have not done so. Many talents have put over their bubble procedures and their COVID-19 safety testing, so it’s a testament to the company for how their talent feels. Joe Hendry was one of the talents to echo some of this testament, revealing they have taken care of him during the pandemic.
