Mike Bennett Posts Emotional Promo After Hearing Daughter Watched His Final Battle Match
Mike Bennett has returned to Ring of Honor, and is enraged.
After reuniting with Matt Taven to help him against Vincent’s faction The Righteous at Final Battle, Bennett was brutalized by Vincent post match, injuring his ankles in the process. It turns out that Bennett had someone watching the violence at Final Battle, and it’s left him wanting revenge on The Horror King.
Mike Bennett revealed on Twitter that his daughter Freddie had watched Final Battle, a match that was not only brutal, but ended in Vincent using a block of wood and a chair to smash Bennett’s ankles to cause the injury. With that reveal, Bennett talked about his reaction in a two-part video that has made it crystal clear he has every intention of getting back at Vincent for his sins.
It’s an intense video where Bennett reveals he was close to death from his own addictions in the past, ones he’s been quite public about that plauged his time with the WWE. Seeing a sober and healthy Bennett back in action and seemingly more motivated than ever is a good thing. At his best, Bennett is an exceptional talent, and he seems happier than ever to be back with his home company.
