Last nights NXT New Years Evil featured a rematch of the NXT Takeover 31 main event, as Kyle O’Reilly once again challenged Finn Balor for NXT Championship and once again following the match, both competitors were sent to hospital. Balor was victorious on night retaining his title for the second time against O’Reilly in match that left one of the participants bloody and both of them bruised.
NXT announced the news on Twitter that both O’Reilly and Balor were sent to Hospital following the match.
The last time these two competitors stood toe to toe with each other in the ring, Finn Balor was left with broken jaw and was forced to miss several weeks of TV. This time however it is Kyle O’Reilly who was sent to Hospital to have his Jaw checked whilst Finn Balor will be having his arm checked out.
Triple H was once again quick to praise both of the superstars following their epic encounter.
