Less than 24 hours after we reported NWA legend Bobby Fulton tested positive for COVID-19, we are now reporting another NWA legend has tested positive for the disease.
Les Thatcher, known mostly in modern times as a wrestling trainer in the Ohio area, has revealed on Twitter he has tested positive for the coronavirus. Thatcher is also known for his time as an announcer for Smokey Mountain Wrestling, in addition to being a top star for the NWA Mid-America territory. Thatcher is also credited as being the person who organized the Brian Pillman Memorial Show.
Some of Thatcher’s most well known trainees include Nigel McGuiness, Jamie Noble, and Shark Boy.
