More Indications Jay White Is Staying With New Japan Pro Wrestling
Jay White cut an emotional promo following his loss to Kota Ibushi at Wrestle Kingdom 15 that he was done with New Japan. His pinfall loss the following night at New Year’s Dash, in addition to how quickly he was ushered off by his teammates only added to speculation White was one foot out the door.
However, some cold water was poured on the rumors of White departing for another promotion after word went around that White had been courted by All Elite Wrestling prior to opening its doors and being told he had signed a 7-year deal with New Japan. Now, another hint has popped up revealing that White is more than likely staying with New Japan. A user on Twitter took a picture of an advertising wall at Korakuen Hall in Japan, revealing that White is on one of the posters new Japan is using to promote a March show at the venue. This could be a greater indication White is staying with the company as NJPW usually does not promote talent not scheduled to appear.
White has a long list of supporters who want to see him in the WWE and it’s obvious he has fans in AEW. However, for right now, more signs point to him remaining with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
