Ring of Honor had a blossoming star in their women’s division in Maria Manic. However, since their return from the COVID-19 pandemic, she has yet to make an appearance for the company since. Obviously an absence for what seems close to a year would trigger some questions from fans, and it seems we may have some answers.
Manic wound up suffering a concussion last year, leaving her unable to wrestle. She is, however, under contract. Fightful Select first reported the news on the concussion in addition to her having signed this long term deal.
Manic is still with the company but hasn’t been used probably due to her concussion. She was in the ROH bubble during the recent tapings but not used.
The early reports from her being spotted at the bubble was that she looked happy and healthy, and while it’s unclear what her health status is, it was said she looked “better than she had in a long time.”
Sadly, some fans know Manic best due to the fact that Teddy Hart had been arrested following a domestic violence issue involving her, where he allegedly tried to strangle her.
