Night 3 of NJPW’s Road New Beginning sees the 3rd straight night of action from Korakuen Hall. There’s a stacked card once again, with a huge 6 man tag match in the main event as Sho, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Master Wato join forces to face the team of Hiromu Takahashi, Shingo Tagaki and BUSHI.
Will Ospreay and Great O’Khan Vs Satoshi Kojima and Yota Tsuji
Will Ospreay picks up the win for the United Empire team after hitting Yota Tsuji with the Os Cutter, that’s 3 straight wins for the United Empire team as Ospreay continues to get the better of Kojima ahead of their singles match at New Beginning in Nagoya.
El Desperado, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Minoru Suzki and DOUKI Vs El Phatasmo, Taiji Ishimori, Gedo and Jado
The Bullet Club team snatched the win in this outing as El Phantasmo catching DOUKI with the Super Kicks to get the pin, that gives the Bullet Club their second win out of their 3 matches so far. El Phatasmo and Taiji Ishimori regained the momentum ahead of their challenge of El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru for IWGP Jr Heavyweight Tag Team championship on the 23rd of January.
Hirooki Goto, Kazuchica Okada and YOSHI-HASHI Vs Evil, Dick Togo and Yujiro Takahashi
Evil hits YOSHI-HASHI with Every Thing Is Evil, picking up his first win for Evil’s Bullet Club team over an Okada’s Chaos team on this Road to New Beginning tour.
Tomoaki Honma and Kota Ibushi Vs Tesuya Naito and SANADA
Naito delivered a Destino to Honma picking up the pin fall, once more SANADA is able to get the better of Ibushi heading to the main event of New Beginning in Hiroshima night 2, where the two will square up for the IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Championship.
Sho, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Master Wato Vs Hiromu Takahashi, Shingo Tagaki and Bushi
Shingo Tagaki catches Master Wato with a Death Valley Driver getting the pin fall, Tagaki continues to gain momentum ahead of his Never Open-Weight title defense against Tanahashi at New Beginning in Nagoya. Sho and Master Wato face Takahashi and BUSHI respectively at New Beginning in Hiroshima night 1, with the competitors set to face off plenty more times on the Road to New Beginning tour.
Night 3 of the Road to New Beginning Tour was much more of the same as night 1 and 2 with great matches topped by yet another incredible main event, as the competitors continue to jocky for momentum ahead their clashes at New Beginning in Nagoya and Hiroshima. Night 4 of Road to new beginning will see the IWGP Jr Heavyweight Tag Team Championship in the main event, as El Phantasmo and Taiji Ishimori challenge El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru.
