Edge announced his entry into the 2021 Royal Rumble this past Monday on Raw, and he voiced how determined he was to win the whole thing. With WWE making some interesting changes, Edge seems to be inching closer to potentially a bigger match at WrestleMania.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that since WWE seems to be leaning toward Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt ending their feud at WrestleMania, Edge may be getting a chance at the title. A Royal Rumble win leaves “Edge open for Reigns or McIntyre since his promo was strong about going after the title.”
Edge and Reigns would be a fresh matchup, along with Edge and McIntyre, and considering Goldberg is facing McIntyre at the Rumble, it does also leave potential for Goldberg to finally get the match against Roman Reigns many fans have been anticipating since WrestleMania 36.
The doors are now open for many things, and it could get very interesting from here on out.
