Tonight’s Royal Rumble has a few matches that look ready to headline any show they’re on. Whether it’s either Royal Rumble match, or the two major title matches that see Goldberg trying to dethrone Drew McIntyre or the Last Man Standing match between Kevin Owens and incumbent champion Roman Reigns, any of those choices could main event the show. As of now, we know which one will.
Fightful Select has reported that as of this moment, the WWE is currently planning on having the Men’s Royal Rumble match headline tonight’s pay per view. It’s said that this was the plan as of this afternoon, though things are always subject to change.
Sometimes the company leaves the lasting memory of someone pointing to the giant WrestleMania sign after winning the Royal Rumble as the moment to close the show with, but things could always change between now and air time.
