One of the more emotional moments in Royal Rumble history happened last night, when a year after Edge returned at the 2020 Royal Rumble from career ending injuries, his tag team partner Christian returned during this year’s event. Entering at #24, Christian was one of the final few competitors in the match and delivered a performance that was far more than just a casual return. Years after concussion issues may have sidelined Captain Charisma, it seems that he’s back and he’s asking for the one thing we have longed for.
One more match.
Seven years after his last match, Christian is looking for one more match. And now, it seems like Christian might just get his wish.
