Why Bad Bunny Might Be Featured Quite A Bit On WWE Television
WWE has been able to have Bad Bunny on a couple of shows so far, but it looks like there’s no end in sight for that possibly. That might have to do with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The global superstar has been a great get for the WWE so far, as his merchandise became the top selling items for the year for the WWE and even wound up completely selling out. The WWE’s President and Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan had a chance to speak to Forbes about Bad Bunny and revealed that the WWE Universe should expect to see Bad Bunny more often, and the opportunity has a lot to do with him being unable to tour.
“Obviously, there is no touring right now, so the ability to get Bad Bunny for however long this run is going to be—and you’re going to see a lot of him—I don’t believe that would have existed in a world where Bad Bunny was on tour.”
Bad Bunny will have an opportunity to make his way to WrestleMania it seems, as it looks like he and Damian Priest will meet The Miz and John Morrison at WrestleMania. On the road to the pay per view, one can expect we won’t just see more of Bad Bunny, but more merchandise featuring him.
