WWE Talks About Bringing In Cardi B

If an opportunity presents itself, WWE is always looking to do business. And it seems like they’d like to do business with another hip hop juggernaut.

Bad Bunny has been the talk of the WWE Universe and mainstream media since he started to get himself involved with the WWE. Now it seems WWE has their eyes set on bringing in rapper Cardi B.

Cardi B already found herself mixing it up with the WWE Universe. After reacting to a casual name drop on Raw, she had a little Twitter back and forth with Raw star Lacey Evans, who promised she’d kick her ass while listening to her music. Speaking with Forbes, WWE executive Nick Khan talked about how due to COVID-19 making summer touring less feasible for musicians, it allows them for extended runs with the WWE as they build up their storylines.

“That’s going to be a continual effort, so we’re always going to watch Bad Bunny, Cardi B to get involved. It made it a touch easier to get a deal done this time because they weren’t—over the course of however long the deal is—is not in 25 different cities during that time. The bulk of concert money is made in the summertime. It doesn’t appear as if there are going to be big tours during the summer, even we’re all hopeful, so we’ll see what other folks we’re talking to and who you’ll see in the mix.”

There’s an implication in there a deal may already be done with Cardi B, though that’s unconfirmed. However, the ability to have less places to travel and more time to work a program certain makes it more enticing to have these stars and around for builds to WrestleMania. While Bad Bunny has already managed to get a program set for WrestleMania, we might have to wait and see if they bring in Cardi B and if they have plans for her in place.
