The Dark Order Begins Approving Applications Sent To Their Website To Reach Hangman Page
One of AEW’s most interesting angles right now is the the situation involving Hangman Adam Page and The Dark Order.
To recap, Dark Order had been trying to recruit Page to join the faction before the company changed direction with the faction before the passing of their leader Brodie Lee. Page had slowly began to warm up to the group, looking even more likely to join them following Lee’s passing. Most of the situation played out on Being the Elite, the company’s web sketch comedy show.
Page had dropped the tidbit in one sketch that he had actually considered joining long before the group recruited him, even filling out an application to join on the group’s website that AEW set up. While nothing had come of it, something finally happened today.
While much of the group has resigned themselves to Page abandoning the group and their tenuous friendship with them, the one person who has believed Page still has sentiment in his heart for the faction is Alan “V” Angels, the one member of the group constantly picked on. It was enough that Angels was on BTE this week, managing the group’s website where he was starting to accept any and all applications to join the Dark Order in the hopes one of the accepted applicants was Page himself. While something like that could be written off as a joke, in AEW, it certainly didn’t happen. Fans took to Twitter to reveal that after all this time of waiting, the Dark Order has accepted them. Not only has the group welcomed their fans with open arms, but V is hoping one of those responses reaches their dear friend Hangman.
