The opening contest on the pay-per-view portion of AEW Dynasty saw The Young Bucks vs. Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita of the Don Callis Family. Though Okada and Takeshita aren’t too fond of each other, Don Callis made it clear that if they worked well together, Konosuke Takeshita would get a shot at Kazuchika Okada’s AEW International Championship.

While both men did work well together early, The Young Bucks were firing on all cylinders and this caused Okada and Takeshita to get frustrated. The two eventually came to blows, but it seemed like they got it out of their system before getting back to the task at hand.

The match was an incredible opener that saw non-stop action, but the story here was the struggling team of Okada and Takeshita and it all came to a halt at the end of the contest when Konosuke Takeshita allowed The Young Bucks to hit their signature Meltzer Driver on Okada for the victory.
