Nick Aldis Says He Was Told AEW Stars Had A “Little Bit Of An Attitude” From Impact Wrestling Locker Room
Nick Aldis has made a lot of friends in professional wrestling and some of them tell him things. From what he’s heard, some AEW stars haven’t made a great impression.
Aldis was a guest on Konnan’s Keepin’ It 100 podcast, and he said that thanks to talking to some old friends from Impact Wrestling, he’s heard that some AEW stars have a little bit of attitude when it comes to working with his buddies.
“I have friends in virtually every major company in the business and we live not far from Nashville. So, often when the guys come to tape Impact, some of them come to the house and we go hang out or whatever. So, I’ve got a few very good buddies who work there [IMPACT] and the word was that some of the AEW guys who had been showing up there had a little bit of an attitude about them. “That was the overall word… It’s interesting because it correlates. I’m only bringing that up because it kinda tracks what I’m hearing about this thing – perhaps a little too big for their britches.”
Aldis’ words seem to correlate with the issues the company had with Sammy Guevara, but it’s unclear if this also refers to Kenny Omega, who has been the only other AEW star to make his way over to date. It’s sharp words from the franchise of a promotion AEW has also had a working relationship with.
