In 2019, WALTER had his rental car broken into in Chicago and had his gear, passport, and the WWE United Kingdom Championship stolen from him. According to a user on TikTok, the stolen title has been returned to the WWE.
A user on the platform named vndschicago allegedly purchased the title, not knowing this was the stolen item. When he found this out, he returned the belt back to the company.
The WWE certainly appreciated the gesture, and sent back a replica title signed by several stars in the company. The video can be found below, along with a view of the gift he received in return.
Hopefully in return, one of the thank yous he received was from WALTER, who is still the United Kingdom Champion after a hard fought match against Tommaso Ciampa last night at TakeOver: Stand And Deliver.
