The Young Bucks have seemingly wrestled every tag team on the planet at least twice at this point. The duo have widely been regarded as one of the best teams on the planet, and you have to wonder if there are any teams left they have interest in.
They recently spoke with TV Insider about if there were any teams left on their bucket list to face. While mentioning The Usos, one team name popped up in The New Day. It was at that moment they revealed it was a match that almost happened.
I feel like we’ve wrestled every tag team we’ve wanted to. I guess the Usos and The New Day would be the only two left who would be on my bucket list. When we were close to doing The Elite versus The New Day a few years ago, WWE never gave the okay on it. We were really close to doing it.
The two teams had some trios action, involving Big E and Kenny Omega, for a round of Street Fighter V at a video game tournament. While it still hasn’t happened yet, these two teams will continue to tease the idea to show fans who the most dominant team is.
