Updated Timetable For Eric Young’s Return
Eric Young suffered a torn ACL back in March of this year during a match against James Storm which was taped for IMPACT TV.
This was the first time that Young had been injured and forced to take time off during his 24 year career. Young’s stablemate Joe Doering recently sat down and spoke with Joe Karni and The Angle Podcast heading into this weekend’s Slammiversary PPV.
During the interview Eric Young’s injury and status was brought up, which Doering was quick to give an update on. He revealed that Young is rehabbing excellently, and that he should be back to action in roughly 3 to 4 months, hopefully in time for IMPACT’s Bound For Glory PPV.
“I know he’s rehabbing excellently. Wrestlers heal well and fast. I would expect him back in 5 or 6 months. From now only 3-4 months. Hopefully by Bound for Glory he’ll be back in the ring full-time.”
Doering and Rhino – Violent by Design will defend the IMPACT Tag Team Championships this weekend at Slammiversary in a Four-Way Tag Team Match against Rich Swann & Willie Mack, TJP & Fallah Bahh, and The Good Brothers – Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows.
