After 8 years in the WWE Buddy Matthews FKA Buddy Murphy was released from his contract in June of 2021.
Matthew’s has been rumored to appear in many promotions once his non-compete clause is up and it seems we may now know where he is headed based off some remarks from Impact Wrestling’s EVP Scott D’Amore

Scott D’Amore was at a Toronto Blue Jays game with Josh Alexander and his wife Jade Chung. Scott can be heard saying “tune in this Thursday night when Buddy Murphy debuts on Impact Wrestling”
We will find out this Thursday when Impact airs in AXS.
