Last night the Title Match for Extreme Rules was set.
Randy Orton will get a shot at his 15th World Championship against Bobby Lashley on September 26th. Orton trails only John Cena and Ric Flair in terms of World Championships reigns. It’ll be interesting to see if the Viper can end Lashley’s impressive run and pick up a historic moment in his career.
Orton and Lashley isn’t a saturated rehash of an old match either. The two have rarely faced off against one another despite both starting their WWE journeys in the early 2000s. Randy, as a part of the OVW Class of 2002, with Lashley coming to WWE in 2005. However it won’t just be a World Title Match that the two of these competitors will face off in.
Last night on RAW in the Tag Team Turmoil Match, Lashley and MVP earned themselves a shot at the Tag Team Titles next week against RK-Bro. With all of the Double Champion talk going on between Lashley and Orton, who will win? Make sure you’re watching Raw next week to find out!
