This Morning Ryo Mizunami took to Twitter to announce that she’s coming back to the United States to wrestle for AEW.
Mizunami was a part of the first-ever AEW pay-per-view, Double or Nothing 2019, teaming with Hikaru Shida and Riho to defeat Aja Kong, Emi Sakura & Yuka Sakazaki. We also saw Mizunami win a match in the AEW Women’s World Title Eliminator Tournament, defeating Nyla Rose in the finals. She lost her title match against Shida at AEW Revolution.
Ryo Mizunami last wrestled for the company on the May 5 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation, losing to Abadon. The timetable for her return is unknown at the moment.
