Hall of Famer Booker T is not one to hold his tongue about anything and the former WWE star has been definitely kept an eye on AEW and the moves the company has been making.
On the latest episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T shared his thoughts on the AEW vs WWE war. He also took some shots at AEW owner Tony Khan. He challenged Khan to shut up and put on a good show.
“I’m of the sentiment that Tony Khan is doing a lot of talking about nothing. Go out and produce a good show. At the end of the day, we’ll know who won if that’s what we’re looking for, if that’s your goal post, if that’s where you’re trying to score in. But all of this talk about what you’re doing, this and that, back and forth, I swear man, it sounds like a little school girl saying how pretty she is over the other girls on the schoolyard.”
Booker isn’t the only WWE-associated star to take shots at AEW lately. WWE Universal champ Roman Reigns recently made the media rounds, and trashed the company calling AEW’s wrestlers “little brothers.”
