Earlier today Ring Of Honor announced that all talents would be released and that come January the company would be on a hiatus.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com has tweeted out a little more clarity on the situation. Sapp reported that Joe Koff told talent that multiple meetings were held trying to fight for ROH but that Sinclair made the final call. He also noted that they were told there would be some type of tv show that would begin after Final Battle but weren’t told exactly what that would be.
Sapp noted that he was told all releases are effective as of the end of the year and that if a contract goes beyond that then that talent would be paid till March 31. Talents were also let known, that if they wanted to work elsewhere they were to contact Greg Gilleland and that they would work things out to make it happen
